Cold Seal Registration Inspection System

Tecscan’s Cold Seal Registration Inspection System has earned a FlexoTech award for taking the guesswork out of cold seal registration.

The unique video system produces an onscreen transparent effect showing the actual cold seal from one side, and the print from the other, allowing the operator to view "in register" and to run at maximum production speeds.

Manufacturers of cold seal products who use Tecscan inspection technology are reducing waste and improving quality by continuously monitoring perfect registration.

Tecscan’s new updated system incorporates special illumination techniques which allow the operator to see through metalized substrates clearly, enabling the matching of the cold seal to the print. With just

the flick of a switch, this technique can be easily changed for white, metallic or other substrates to match specific products.

The system is controlled from the operator’s console and is quick and easy to set up and use, confirming Tecscan’s philosophy of providing the best possible information from the production run to the operator, in order for action to be taken to maximise profitability.
